No the meeting was apparently with a large competitor who was willing to help out. Signing a deal with them will be huge, no ifs or buts about it. That's why FNHI presents sich a lucrative opportunity.

And if the company is sold, you'll just get cash. But there are numerous other ways a deal could be structured. You could also get shares in the acquiring company.
