They did. Those products still exist. I think the point is that they would be suing ATVI/DIS/etc. whether those products were successful or not. If they were more successful with those products (Worlds Server, Worlds Online, Aerosmith World, MTV, etc.), maybe things would be different. For example, if Microsoft had these patents, the case against ATVI would be a slam dunk.

I am by no means an expert on the law and the factors that go into this stock - I'm simply trying to learn and trying to counter many of the points you have been making. I have to read up on the PTAB case/ruling again.
