Theaters need warm bodies coming through the door. They make their money on candy, soda and popcorn. If MoviePass can increase theater traffic by even a small percentage, they will fill seats that otherwise would have remained empty. If Moviepass can execute, I think it's a good idea. I bet Mark Cuban's Landmark Theaters will be happy to work with Moviepass.
