Perhaps you need to learn about the adjudication process and how long rulings take? It is clear the Judge in Distrct court was not even close to a ruling since

1. Arguments had not been made

2. It was only just past the markman hearing when the PTAB stepped in

I am not sure how a judge rules prior to hearing both sides and seeing arguments

Perhaps in your experience or in narnia that happens, in my world, judges typically hear a case first, read the briefs, opine, then take 4-6 months to rule and write their opinion
