August 14-My arrival this morning was met with disappointment. A critter, probably a bunny, nipped off he tops of a dozen brassica seedlings. I moved them.

I put in 3 more brassica plants, mixing manure with the soil. I always dig deep enough to pull up a little clay. It has minerals.

It's been a long wait but the Peach Habanero peppers did turn color. I picked about 50. Dreama took some.

I cleared out another 90 square feet of raised bed. At this pace will clear out the equivalent to one 360 foot raised bed every four days.

The Russian Pickling cucumbers I sowed August 6 have made true leaves. The Muncher cukes are beginning to leaf out. They've been in since August 1.

The heat nd the humidity of August persist, along with evening showers.

The Nasdaq's third tier, the AMEX can be just as bad, and last but not least, the OTC, it seems, are financial venues that reward failure.
