What happened to the geological team that was assessing the value of those mines?

EFLN has no money to have been able to hire anyone to go dig around at any of those old, scattered claims, which have seen no activity for close to a century. Only a couple of them produced more than a few ounces of gold. Each claim/mine was in a different area, and each would need permits to do more than just some nosing around. Ain't gonna happen. There has been no commercial exploration or mining in the Siskiyou gold belt for eons.

Further, the claims have no value. Even if reserves were proven up at just one of the sites, there still would be none, as in ground gold can't be called an asset.
