Very interesting article Stock Farmer! This appears to simply be the reaction of one city to the LSEV donations Jinbo is making... Zhangjiakou has a City Public Security Bureau that wants the low speed vehicles registered by the Ministry of Industry.

But how is that possible since the Ministry does not currently list any low speed vehicles and it is not a requirement to do so? Zhangjiakou is located at Inner Mongolia right outside of Beijing, so I smell competition trying to combat the Jinbo plan of donating vehicles by getting to local officials.

The Chinese auto industry knows ZJMY is coming hard & fast. And just how many EVs have we already produced- that is 10 LSEVs to the Zhangjiakou police department alone!
