Here is a better synopsis: Tom is being realistic because he is writing a new book about it chapter by chapter as we speak or he is being realistic because he already knows he is as impatient as we are to get there and also knows much more than us being 5 chapters ahead which puts him at a much higher intelligence level than people give him credit for, that being immensely smart.
