Alliances in high tech are HUGE!

For those of you who do not understand the significance of alliances in high tech let me clarify their significance:

I have been in high tech for over 30 years and have worked, and still do, FOR and WITH some of the largest highs tech companies in the world. All of them are names that would would recognize: Apple, HP, Dell, IBM, Cisco, Microsoft, and the list goes on...

Even the largest of companies have very robust alliance programs in place because no matter how large the entity is since it is impossible to be the very best at everything. Even companies that compete in one area will have a significant alliance in another area.

These alliances allow them to better position themselves in the market as a trusted advisor and also talk to their customers with a big-picture mindset. For customers this is VERY significant as they rely on these partners to bring the best OVERALL solution. Scalability in IT is a huge issue and most companies simply cannot scale to support the best of breed approach any longer.

IMO this is exactly what TC is doing with Bravatek and I expect he will be successful.

For the people that dispute the value of these alliances it would be interesting to understand REAL FACTS that show that alliances are not of significant value here.

I await your answers...........
