I'm not an attorney. I only majored in common sense.
What you try to point out is the very reason a Patent Holder has rights of ownership. Let's say I invent a Patent but I have no money to develop or market it. Does this mean any larger or richer firm can steal my invention? I don't think so.

It's a fair point, but the extent to which you consider the technology of Activision infringes on Worlds' patents could be a deciding factor in the mind of a judge. I've read and studied WDDD's patents and I still have reservations as to whether you can look at them, look at the final products of Activision, and deduce how much of their product infringes on Worlds' IP and how much of it was actually "built around" their patents. I don't know the answer to that.

If I had to guess, I'd say we're looking at a significantly smaller % of profits being a royalty than many others have estimated before, but still some. Enough for Worlds to have a significant infusion of cash. And that's assuming the judges rule in favor of their validity/whatever mess that still has to be sorted through goes in WDDD's favor.

This is still a a <$0.50 stock in my opinion, but multiples ahead of where it is now imo.

Let's say you invent a fairly vague patent that you never develop for over 20 years?

Your example is of no value.

Well this would be helpful if I gave some sort of example.

I only majored in common sense.

Thanks for implying that I don't have common sense. I understand what patents are for.

But no one has really cleared it up for my to this point. I understand if Worlds had been trying to develop their technology from their patents, but they never really tried to develop anything serious, and stopped many years ago. That's where the "troll" part comes in for me.
