During 1999 – 2000, Mr. Viola sold off the manufacturing assets of The Viola Group, Inc. to merge the publicly-traded entity with a telecommunications concept company called DataMeg Corp. The timing of this transaction came at the height of the IPO boom in the Telecommunications Industry. Mr. Viola structured, negotiated and helped finance the transaction which included a forward stock split for original shareholders (of four years) that resulted in a 900% ROI.
