So, the infringement meter keeps running during the PTO reexamination with the potential for amended claims erasing past infringement damages. Lovely.`

Between having to deal with the PTO and the courts, not to mention thieving customers and conniving SSOs, the IP business model is a poor choice for sissies or anyone in a hurry to make a buck.... except the lawyers, of course.

Can understand why Farmwald and Horowitz and Davidow and Dunlevie and all the option-hungry Rambus employees chose to make their windfall with Rambus, but what were the rest of us thinking??
