In a strange way, I think the fact that Iconic wanting to convert to shares was a bullish indicator (assuming that they were still getting paid of course). What financial company would want a billion shares of a sub-penny stock instead of cash unless they thought those shares would rise in value.
Under the market conditions at that time, they would drive the share price down so low when they sold to recoup their investment that they would probably end up losing money.
