Disney wants to own a bigger piece of the streaming pie.
The company announced during its latest earnings report on Tuesday it intends to remove its movies from Netflix.
Instead, Disney plans to launch a branded direct-to-consumer streaming service in 2019 starting in the U.S. and expanding globally.
Imagine how far along VivaLive TV will be once Disney finally gets it going in 2019. I also saw an article saying CBS was entering the OTT scene and hoped to be available in Canada in 2018. Hello, VivaLive TV is already there and many other nations. We'll be established globally long before the others get their shit together
