The bad grammar suggests Harry himself wrote these.
He had pulled the same routine some years ago on the steam car club board. He said the souped-up Mark 5 engine for the land speed car was going to do dyno tests and he would post the results when they were in.
Then nothing.
People kept asking for the results and Harry kept coming up with excuses. His final excuse was that he would only show dyno results to someone who made a big cash contribution to his land speed car.
Even though he had been describing that engine as "a beast" and "runnin' sweet on the dyno" when it came time to put up or shut up, Harry made excuses.
The last report on the Mark 5 was that video from Febuary 2015 showing about a minute of the engine spinning under no load. So, the Mark 5 engine on the dyno must have been a complete disaster. Maybe that's where the term "grenade engine" came from.

No doubt the December testing of the genset engine showed it was as much of an embarrassment.
