So how is it that after a 1/20 positive split a couple of years ago the companies stock reached almost 40 dollars a share.

Since Then as things have taken a turn for the worse they have already done a 10/1 reverse split so what would make you think they would do something so drastic as a 100/1 reverse split instead of a 10/1 reverse split to get them back to where they initially were and at that time the stock was over a dollar.
