Motorola going for home use in a big way, already got the 85 chip and state they are going for certifications, so I think this answers everybodys question about any infringement on TKO`s patent/patents. Obviously TKO still using 14 chip, but this is not such a bad thing for govt stuff anyway as not so essential.
As you say Sonny, pricing, but just how big is the home market in comparison to these GE and EDS contracts?
And don`t forget the 85 chip is coming for TKO early next year anyway!!
I always feel competition of any form is good and proves you are doing the right thing, what I hope mostly, is that competition from a large Company such as Motorola gives TKO a much needed kick up the jacksy to bring their lieu times down, their technology brought up to spec and make them more aggressive for further contracts and I don`t think it will just be Motorola as a competitor as the months and years go forward, so TKO need to get that strangle hold into gear, but they are not the best nor fastest at this as we all know!!
