North Korea says it has released a Korean-Canadian pastor who was detained for more than two years, just hours after an exchange of threats between Pyongyang and President Donald Trump.
The release of Rev. Lim Hyeon-soo, which coincides with the arrival in Pyongyang of a top aide to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, comes about two months after U.S. student Otto Warmbier died shortly after being sent home from a lengthy detention in North Korea.
