**UPDATED******VIVA's Many Competitors. Pros and Cons***********

Before reading this keep in mind that the future market of OTT will have many competitors and everyone will get a decent piece of the pie, some more than others.

We all know that VivaLiveTv offers the most content and the best price so i’m not going to delve into that to much. Its only a matter of time before a major competitor acquires more content and offers it at the same price. If a new company like Viva is able to get all this content then its only a matter of time before youtube(GOOGLE) works out an even better deal with the same networks.

These competitors are all rapidly expanding, adding new features every month to out due one another. But Viva is still in the lead..

Viva’s Current Significant Advantages
-8000/10000+ movies
-Hispanic/South American Love and community
-Celebrity Endorsers
-The only major OTT offering Radio/Music
-Most Content at the cheapest price
-Roku, Firestick

Here are the Pros and Cons to each Competitor
NOT all Pros and cons are listed, only the things i found to be noteworthy.
Does not Include channel comparison. Go here if you want to learn more on that

******YouTubeTv (Biggest Threat):
Not if, but when a global company like Youtube acquires the same amount of content, even if the price is higher than Viva’s , it will become the most popular choice by far. The convenience of having youtube videos, TV, and movies all in the same place makes them Viva’s biggest threat.

Pros
-**Comes with 6 accounts for family/roommates in the household. Each with their own login and personal DVR library This is a huge advantage
*Viva only comes with 2. $10 extra for 2 more. Total of 4
-DVR“Never run out of storage space for your recordings” - Holds recordings for 9 months
-"Record all your shows simultaneously"

Cons
-Currently only available in the United States
-Youtube Ads unless you are a RED subscriber

******SlingTV:
Pros
-Cheapest of all, starting at $20
-A la Carte (eh good idea i guess, but realistically i consider this to be more of a con)
-DVR add on $5
-#1 Live OTT product so far.
-On Roku’s Front Page

Cons
- Website is overly complicated, using strange diagrams to explain their services made it feel like a chemistry class, When in reality i’m just trying to get some TV service.
-**People want to have all the channels not just the ones they watch the most (a la Carte). Browsing and finding new content is an important feature of television and thats what makes A La Carte a bad idea.
-It took me 2 minutes just to find the prices and channels they offer through weird “sling packages”

******DirectTV Now:
Pros
-**ATT $10 per month plan:
only for unlimited plan customers, includes 60 live channels.
- Customers like having less bills to pay, DirectTv offers internet and OTT combining and simplifying your bills.- Viva will be working on Internet soon (according to JF’s Tweets)
-Roku Front Page

******Playstation Vue:
Pros
-Definitely has the best website. Clearest, smoothest, and most appealing design to attract customers. Makes things simple. Its the least i’d expect from SONY
-Gamers will Appreciate the convenience
*JF stated that they are working on Xbox and Playstation
-DVR
-*Multiviews- can watch up to 3 channels at the same time on the PS4

******Hulu Live Tv
Pros
-DVR 50 hrs of storage, add on upgrade 200 hrs
-2 screens/accounts. You can upgrade to Unlimited Screens
*Viva only comes with 2. $10 extra for 2 more
-Hulu’s Streaming Library, Closest competitor to Netflix

Cons
-Not on Roku yet

******Netflix and Xfinity will be Showing up soon and they will come in with a bang!

All Premium Packages HBO,Showtime,Starz are about the same price for every competitor. Ranging anywhere from $8-15

All competitors offer no hidden fees and no long term contracts. Free trials everywhere.

The one thing that will change Everything:
Cell Phone Partnerships
Whoever gets a AT&T or T-Mobile Deal first will be here to stay. According to Viva’s tweets it looks like they will be taking T-Mobile and Boost.
-Luis Guzman T-Mobile commercials are going to be hilarious and will leave a mark on people.
-DirectTV Now is working with AT&T, offering 60 channels for $10 extra.

What Truly sets $OTTV apart from all the other competitors is the fact that we will control the whole Hispanic/South American culture. While all the other providers will be stuck fighting over customers in the United States. Also the Music and Radio stations are a bigger deal in Hispanic cultures.

This is why i can sleep soundly knowing my money is in the right place.
