I think the lawsuit by Lucy Edmonston pretty much sums up who was at fault. COVEY. Read the initial law suit. COVEY negotiated the contract and the terms then failed to follow thru with those terms. COVEY only paid Lucy $15k of an initial $1.4M agreement, plus COVEY lied about testing and data requirements for the SC which he said he'd accomplish. It was COVEY lies and failures which negated the contract and ultimately allowed Lucy Edmonston to prevail. The final settlement this past Jan 17, 2017 returned all claims/ patents back to Lucy. Wonder why Corey wasn't named directly in the law suit? Maybe because Corey was the only honest person in the company and Lucy knew that. I'd reckon Corey was able to work his own agreement with Lucy for TE to get control of the SC and patents etc. Honesty, integrity and good morals win in the end. Lucy saw that in Corey. COVEY only a lying thief.
