U.S. banking chains are closing down branches--UBA has 428 or so for Nigeria, Bank of America 6,000 or so for the USA. Nigeria is #1 economy in Africa, but #28 worldwide. The Naira is about 320 to 1USD, so efficiency in banking ops works as well in Nigeria, as Bank of America wants it to be in the USA. There is even an International Fintech conference in Lagos, in two months. Centric Gateway will likely be there, Pink Current, headed for a listing upgrade. Nigeria is pulling out of recession. That #4 website is a job-creator, now because of UBA Emailmoni, aided by banking technology. Barclay's will be in Lagos. SunTrust will be in Lagos. UBA will be in Lagos, where UBA House is located. The Continent of Africa wants to be cashless, national policies all over. The famous payment apps of USA apparently got their start in Kenya, even. Banking is different in Africa, already.
