I have been holding mine for roughly 6 months now too.
Every time this thing gets to ~$4 (16s now), I buy a little. Have roughly 1500 shares. I sold a third when it hit 12 & 13, and then bought another 500 a few weeks ago.
I don't need the money, but it is still frustrating when your number comes up, in this case gold from 1180s to 1270s, but the house changes the payout rules. JNUG flops over and over again.
This thing hasn't broken 20s in a while (that's $5 pre-split).
With the USD and the carry trade USD JPY being down 9%, I don't see why gold isn't in the 1400s.
There is a massive amount of manipulation for gold to stay this low, including the fact that input costs to mine it has increased, and every miner has posted lower mined ounces because of labor and ownership disputes.
