OTTV B/O could be coming...

If I was betting I would say OTTV gets swallowed up within a year or as soon as the subscriber base reaches a competitive level.

Remember the Hispanic influence here, CEO knows how they buy. Viva is inexpensive and competitive. A lot about it is "sexy" as well and sexy sells.

I believe Johnny knows acquisition or merging is the eventual outcome so he is positioning Viva to be of interest.

That is why I keep saying Viva is undercutting price to gain subscribers. They are not going to show huge revenue like this but will eat at competitors subscriber base until CHOMP, someone swallows them.

Consider this, Televisa in Mexico is trying to push Roku out. How simple would it be to acquire Viva as its platform so they can better control the content and how it is used? Reality is, at least if it were pirated Televisa would still have a piece.

Cablevision, the cable TV operator owned by Mexican media giant Televisa, had taken Roku to court alleging that Roku’s gadgets are being hacked to allow users to watch pirated channels.

“Cablevision cannot allow the content that it licenses from domestic and foreign companies to be illegally used,” a spokeswoman told Reuters. “We would also like Roku Inc to better supervise the use of its software so that it’s not used inappropriately.”
