Dow Climbs Past 22000 for First Time, Helped by Earnings From Apple and Others

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose past 22000 for the first time, as Apple's earnings report pushed global technology shares higher.

The index is up 20% since President Trump's election and has climbed more than 10% this year, fueled by signs of global growth and strong corporate performance.
