Some say its a signal to other MM's in need of shares

But basically its a way a trader can try to lure the market trend with a few shares to for example if they have a large buy in at the bid they may sell a few shares into it to give the less experience investor the opinion the market is trading down to try to lure them into selling their shares to them at the Bid price ... In same regards a few shares bought up into the Ask could lure a stacked Bid to panic and buy -up into the market ...
