Legal marijuana is here to stay ... and the already insane profits will only get bigger.
Just two days ago, the Republican-controlled Senate Appropriations Committee made its position crystal clear:
It simply won’t tolerate the U.S. Justice Department going after users of medical marijuana.
And that’s despite a personal plea from Attorney General Jeff Sessions to get funding for such efforts.
The committee — which includes 16 Republicans — rebuked Sessions, and renewed an amendment that blocks the Justice Department from spending money to pursue medical marijuana prosecutions.
The fact that it was a voice vote indicates that the amendment — which has been in place since 2014 — isn’t even remotely controversial.
