July 27,28-The sky clouded up Thursday, but no shower. Friday, it did. Around 4:30 the downpour started and lasted maybe 30 minutes. Typical summer T-storm.

I'm still lazy in the afternoons, preferring the cool comfort of the library and a bench while waiting for the bus. Maybe a couple of buses before I decide to return.

Before I left to avoid the rain, I prepared two cucumber hills, bringing the total to 7. Five were prepared in the morning. All were sown with Muncher, which likes exactly like Mohammed's Persian cukes.

Also, I've put in 12 brassicas. Most are DeCicco broccoli and the others I figure are Copenhagen Market cabbage. The collard seedlings died on me. They can't stand weather this hot.

The stand of Peach Habenero peppers have produced. The pods are still creamy white. I wonder if they will change to the pretty pinkish yellow I see in the images.

Old Cadillacs never die. The finance company take 'em and faaaaade 'em away.
