PEIX reports earnings August 2nd. Conference call will be hosted at August 3rd at 11am e.t.
I don't know what to think of that. The timing seems a bit off if they would need to send another PR out later on on that same day about a settlement which would cost them a lot.

As far as I know PEIX they love to bring all the bad news at once, to get it all out of the way before good things happen. I would expect them to bring good earnings after the settlement news. They might hope if earnings are somewhat dissapointing, focus will be on that and since pps will be falling already, it will be less then if there where lot's of days between them, or if they where announced the other way around.

Is it a coincidence???
