That is definitely possible here.. HCTI is not gone dark totally. They are still releasing updates on orders and applied for late filings even though they did not release 10k or quarterly results. Something is brewing for sure. Nothing can be revealed when the merger or buyout is in process. HCTI is not a typical penny stock who does PUMP with forward looking fake NEWS.
