Questions?

From lester12483:
So Joe, why has UBS added to their holdings ?..

Why has Northern Trust Company added shares ?

Why Joe?

JoeBlow: Probably because someone did not do their risk management assessment properly. They might have gotten caught up in Gold Fever and the Historical significance of the Comstock Lode, or the hype from the (economically meaningless) resource numbers. Or maybe the fact that LODE is trading on the NYSE. All of these things could have lured the hedge funds into a false sense of risk security? I don’t really know. But I bet, after a 95.5% loss to their positions, and with this information coming to light, the hedge funds and professional investors are going to take their unhappiness to a new level. IMHO this will cause more selling and downward pressure on the LODE stock price.

Lester12483: All of those things take time and LODE is wayyyy ahead of other junior miners. That's why they are a prime target for JV/acquisition!

JoeBlow: LODE is in debt and losing money mining non-economic resources. They have an illegitimate 43-101. As far as I know LODE has no plans to do a legitimate 43-101 and identify Reserves. They have no plans to come up with a Preliminary Feasibility Study, (a plan) to mine those Reserves, at a profit. All of that would take a lot of time and money. LODE has operated the opposite way a real professional mining company would operate. That is reflected in the stock price losing 95.5% of its value. LODE is more in line for a fire sale than a joint venture.

Lester12483: They don't even have to mine the gold and silver in my opinion. At least right now. They can just sit on their resources and expand exploration, which will make the company even more valuable!

JoeBlow: LODE could come up with a gazillion ounces of gold and silver Resources, and those numbers would not add any value to the LODE stock price. Resource numbers are not economic assets that count.

“When evaluating a company for investment, the lay investor should understand and realize that a Mineral Resource is simply a mineralized mass of rock that has highly elevated content compared to background abundance in a particular mineral commodity. There is often little or no economic input into this classification.”

“A Mineral Reserve is the economically mineable part of a Measured or Indicated Mineral Resource demonstrated by at least a Preliminary Feasibility Study. This Study must include adequate information on mining, processing, metallurgical, economic, and other relevant factors that demonstrate, at the time of reporting, that economic extraction can be justified. A Mineral Reserve includes diluting materials and allowances for losses that may occur when the material is mined.” Mickey Fulp, The Mercenary Geologist.

Lester12483 please stop doing math on resources. Resources have no economic input into anything.

From phx85:
And your credentials are? Your alias does not exude confidence, in my view.

Regardless, Comstock Mining has never claimed reserves, their SEC filings, presentation and technical reports are clearly state RESOURCE. So...who is being completely mis-leading? That would be you.

Joeblow: My opinions are based on facts presented by Mickey Fulp, The Mercenary Geologist. Who is a legend in the mining sector. Those are some very impressive credentials. http://www.24hgold.com/english/contributor.aspx?article=2373604682G10020&contributor=Mickey+Fulp

Speaking of credentials? Who are you phx85? You’ve been pumping LODE since 10/21/2009 when the stock price was at $2.06. Do you work for Comstock Mining? Are you a paid promoter? You have pumped LODE non-stop through a ~91% loss in value from $2.06 to ~18 cents. Are these your credentials? https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/Profile.aspx?user=130132

LODE and many on this board have been throwing around resource numbers as if they mean something. Resources are not economic assets. They do not count toward value. Look at the web site yourself or look at your own posts and the fact that resource numbers are tossed around like they are important economic numbers.
LODE has been losing money mining resources without any plan to identify real reserves and mine those reserves at a profit. This is why the stock price has dropped 95.5% from its high of $4.45.

Invest in American gold mining company with resources of over 3.2 million gold equivalent ounces on just 10% of explored land holdings in Nevada! https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=4007

From Maxbet:

Do you believe that debt restructuring helps make mining more profitable? Does cycladex improve potential profitability? Will the joint ventures have any impact on converting resources into reserves? Hasnt there been a proposal to address an updated 43-101? Just wondering if these are thoughts you consider as you type.

JoeBlow: The Joint Venture is nothing but an un-substantiated rumor. Until actual news and filings come out there is no joint venture or debt restructuring. It does not exist. You cannot import financial numbers into what is now a rumor. If/when any actual filings come out then everyone should do the math.

From wshaw14: These are some impressive assays…

JoeBlow: Assays showing resources are not economic assets. Mining non economic assets with no plan to mine at a profit, no Preliminary Feasibility Study will cause LODE to continue to lose money regardless if what they deploy or try to save money. They should have started out with a 43-101, identified RESERVES and done a Preliminary Feasibility Study which would have been a plan to mine/produce those reserves at a profit. That Preliminary Feasibility Study would have show all of the numbers. All of tghe expenses and profits. Until that happens, LODE has no economic assets. LODE has NO RESERVES!!! https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=133102602
