Good god, I sure hope not! Never good to use shorts as an excuse for stock price except in a few rare exceptions, unusually only happens in the biotech sector, which is already volatile as all get out, where a few stinging SA articles written by shorts can crush a stock - used to happen with Adam Feurstein on TheStreet.com before he got sued for publishing outright lies or fabrications - he eventually left his job as a biotech blogger.

Anyway, back to Barron's and Axiom - not aware of them bashing CLF? And who do you think is manipulating the stock? Takes MM's and perhaps some deep pocketed 'tutes or HF's to do that - shorts can't work in isolation, need a partner in crime.
