usually merger plays once speculated take alot longer than people expect. alot of people get tired and get doubts and bail. pretty typical. the trick is to buy a small starter position and go from there. many people buy too much and get caught into an emotional trading trap which often occurs in losses. but if you get in early and take profits on the way up, there is nothing wrong with that, nobody goes broke taking profits.
