You averaged down? I've been investing since I was 19. Never once averaged down. If I make a mistake I'll sell pretty quickly for a tax loss and move on. Haven't had a loss tho, in years. Some of my holdings, such as my index funds, are 30 years old.

We're in the greatest bull market in history. Anyone who bought sickly Sears in 2013 around $48 definitely made a mistake.
