Thanks for rephrasing my thoughts. Yes I believe a patent filings in Canada or some other country is needed before any data from clinical trials can be released.
I believe they are only sharing formulation data with partners. But they must have realized that a big partner would need clinical trial data too.
I am connecting the dots here and have come to conclusion that a partnership is on the cards but before that there will be another round of Patent filing will occur. Maybe Canada and/or Asia pacific.
All in my opinion only
