Not a flawed concept at all. This is from the Roth research report that was released today:

Stock volatility. It is our understanding that pre-IPO investors who have a low cost basis have recently sold shares in the company, which has caused substantial volatility. We do not believe anything material has changed within the company to alter our view that 2017 remains a year of commercialization efforts. Our model calls for approximately $2.8mm in revenue with a majority developing in the second half of the year.
