Have you any idea what is involved with transgender surgery--including psychological care? It is rare that there are no problems. During transition, there are hormonal injections, which have an effect on behavior.


Social engineering should not be done in the military.

If the military started covering costly sex change operations on the backs of tax payers--where do you think transgenders wanting surgery would gravitate to? You do not have to be a Navy SEAL to be in the military. You can be a cook in the mess hall.

And you get FREE surgery for that?

How about accepting transgenders AFTER they have transitioned successfully for 5 years or so?
