'proftstocksny2' Thanks for the reply. The possibility of a Cert required dividend is not out of the question. I believe it is in the format of all big company's ( and small ones ) that any stock purchase for the company requires certs. "Party" also has stated no certs required by the way. I am not expert, nor do I have any links however this is my take on the situation.
Now if your going to hold some stock for the long term "Say around a year" may as well get Certs. It takes about 4 to 6 weeks at TDAmeritrade free for apex members. This is the only downside waiting for the certs to arrive. I would have them delivered to your home. To sell them just take them ( Hand carried ) to your brokers office and set up a sell order. perhaps a broker assisted trade when you call into him ( say a limit order at $3.45 lol )
if you have a on line only broker you well have to mail them in.
