this is not true. if there is ever a ticker change, there is no swap of shares. there is no delay. the change happens immediately and automatically upon effectiveness.
about doing an i.p.o on nasdaq. I asked if he has seen this before he said yes it's possible
no, it's not. a company can go to nasdaq through an ipo, or uplisting. it can't do both. this company has gone the uplisting route. an ipo is off the table.
He said that there is a few different out comes are shares when stock get a back to trading are worth open price or we get some kind of new shares not sure if it was the same as we have now or what.
again, this is not an ipo. there are no underwriters and there will be no price change.
like i said, you need a new broker or at least you need to find someone at you brokerage who knows what they are talking about.
