If you look at the map, Block 2 is moving farther away from the gas field of Equatorial Guinea. Block 5 is closer. Also the shows at Bomu in Block 2 didn't seem that impressive to me. I don't recall any oil shows and the gas pay zone was only 20m.

Bottom line is that I believe untested Block 5 has much more potential than partially tested Block 2.

So, if ERHC really is out of Block 5 and only retains an interest in Block 2, I don't see that as a good deal. Here is a link to the map.
