Okay, I spoke to Mike Tucker, owner of Mineral Mountain Mining Co. Ph# 602-744-7100. He said the Chapter 11 bankrupcy went through in June of 2005 -last year! And he has had control of the company since. He said since even before the co went under, it was inactive.

Since June of 2005 he HAS NOT ENTERED INTO ANY CONTRACTS, NOR HAS HE NEGOTIATED WITH ANY OUTSIDE COMPANIES REGARDING THE USE OF THE LAND OR ANY MINERAL RIGHTS THEREIN. Also, he has never heard of James Logan, nor of Wineco.

Last, he told me he actually sold the property itself, not the company, just the land, back in May 2006. This would make Mr. Logan's August 24, 2006 PR seem more than strange if in fact THIS is the company he was claiming to be doing business with (or negotiating a contract with). Don't forget, he DID say in that PR that he had already ran extensive tests ON THE Mineral Mountain Mining's property!!! And gave specific quantitative findings. Hmmm. I'm puzzled. Maybe he hired Eryn Brockovich...LOL

So BOTH companies that I found, one Mineral Mountain Mining Co. in AZ, and Mineral Mountain Mining & Milling (ticker MMMM) in Post Falls, Idaho have ever heard of Wineco Productions, Inc. or of James Logan.

I want to know- what happens when an officer of a publicly traded company knowingly misleads investors with false information that can easily be proven as such? Are there legal liabilities? Can he be sued for misrepresentation if this proves true and the stock bellies up? What does the SEC do, and should they be notified if these issues are substantiated? Anyone in here a lawyer?

Everything I write reflects my opinion and should not be considered in any way investment advice. I am new to penny stocks, and I just have a nose for research. I was hoping for a different outcome here, for real concrete positive news since Jim has been so quiet. But I found foul things instead. Buyer beware IMO.
