Larry it won't deploy for at least three
or four years. All the different systems have to be tested and certified with the permanent crew although the ship yard has done it before the navy accepted it. All the weapons systems have to fire live rounds and most important the flight deck has to be certified for each type of aircraft it will carry. Also it's the first in it's class and will probably go through some procedures new to everyone. That's not a very complete explaination but you get the idea. A lot of work to do yet.
