They just fuse off various features...

Is that not consistent with my comment?

Will they all start with 20 candidate cores per die. I understand they are not expecting more than 18 working core chips. They may end up with enough 12 working core chips, maybe too many and not enough of the former.

That very large die is going to be a problem. Even the ones that work will run hot. BWDIK
