The only catalyst it needs at this juncture is for buyers to show up when there aren't any sellers. Today's buyers might well be those who were waiting for another dip which never showed up. When that happens, people start chasing the stock and things can melt up quickly.

Fundamental catalysts are ultimately necessary of course, but I believe that price action usually precedes them. The market seems to knows these things ahead of time and prices them in.
