Mike,

I have no info on whether they have a financier lined up or not. If they do, it probably required assurance of continued NASDAQ listing before finalizing. Now that the r/s is approved, we should see motion on that quickly if it exists.

My only point was that options short of an alternative financing are limited - merger/buyout and share offering. I don't know how best to prepare for the former - but if dilution is coming, a loosening up on present positions with the opportunity to buy back in at diluted levels - with hopefully less debt and all our assets still on board - is a reasonable place to position oneself. But of course, if a financier appears and FIG is bought out without dilution, that could backfire.

Still trying to wrap my head around the latest 8k. If they *are* planning to issue more shares to buy down their debt, the recent special shareholder meeting vote seems to have cleared the way for that. If so, why the need to buy out another's voting privileges? There is no perfect clarity here for me - which is why I'm keeping feet on both sides of the river - not betting exclusively on any particular outcome. Still, if they aren't planning on selling shares, the language of the special vote is curious - yes?

Dangerous times for investors here - my thinking is that positioning oneself for survival in either option is better than betting the farm on one or the other. As always, we each have to decide the proper strategy for ourselves. I'm hoping that by sharing mine, others will follow suit and we can learn from each other.
