Is all over the news in Central America. Guatemala, ElSalvador and Dominican Republic, that the government will install this kind of energy ( WERPO wave electricity renewable power ocean )because they can't afford oil trades anymore. 
The distances driven in those countries are mostly below 2 hours of autonomy making the electric car become a medium term cheaper and better alternative. 
Rumors says that governamental agencies in Central America will offer 100% taxes free for companies like Tesla to implant test and run their product in those countries once they want/need to reduce their oil dependence and power these cars with waves energy 
Those countries now are starting their run to be able to produce sufficient electrical energy to be able to supply this new change of the automotive industry in Addition taking a ride when all this new investments could extend cheap cost energy to the poor side of the country. 
Some companies like WERPO are going to be approached for development of this technology Once all this Central America countries has enormous exposure of turbulent waters ocean coast .
