It wasn't my intention to highlight your spelling when I bracketed "international thievery" as much as it was to highlight the term itself and the care with which this company has taken to protect itself. (Besides, I also made a boo-boo in the last sentence when I said, "His firm has also works with IBM.)
Anyway, the time and effort devoted to IP protection is time well spent. It's akin to medieval castle construction; wide moats, high walls, deep dungeons, and soaring towers and turrets were integral (no pun intended) to the fortification process.
Incidentally, two blockbuster (read Fortune 100) companies tried and failed to crack our formula. While they fended us off trying to solve the mystery of ElectriPlast, it cost us several years of negotiation time, but now they are back at the table talking again.
