I do think the BDI has some relevance here, even though SINO obviously is not a shipper -- simply because if the BDI breaks out to the upside later this year (as it likely will because of the seasonality factor) then a lot of investor money will pour into the sector and SINO should benefit immensely from big money seeking the best value plays in the general sector.

Btw, knowing of that seasonality, i would be very surprised if a good portion of the short position doesn't close before that time.
