I don't know anyone in NYC, as it happens but what I do know is this:

- Internet in NYC isn't fundamentally different from anywhere else and I would be stunned if you are on a connection below 3MB/s unless you share it.
- You yourself argued you get a good Clipstream on your PC, so it's not the connection.
- My considerably older iPad does well on a 6-7MB/s connection.

But none of this really matters, what matters is the judgement of the company as they do extensive testing. They said yesterday it's close, but not yet there where they want it to be.
