The NYC area, or any area is irrelevant, unless bandwidth there really really sucks (that is <3MB/s or so) which would surprise me and again would be just a matter of time before that clears away also.

With the new HVEC codec, it's not bandwidth that is the bottleneck, it's the device resources, memory, CPU. I've mentioned this before, so did the company..

Which is why I struggle a bit believing you're struggling with a brand new iPad while mine is 2 years old and gives a really nice picture with Clipstream demos. And for the record, I'm only on 12MB/s or so max (more like 6MB/s in reality).

CPU, memory, bandwidth, they will all improve gradually and so will their javacript solution with new iterations. This is just a matter of time.
