My background is biotech. Secondly political analysis. I sat through too many FDA meeting to know that what seems right is sometimes sadly wrong. XXII on the tobacco front has as much to do with politics as it does with scientific reality. I have stated that case many times. They have had over two years after the NEJM article for someone to get with us. It has not happened and it is NOT because our technology is flawed.
